disable the state of a visa resource control

Hello community,

is there a way to disable and grey a visa resouce control?

yes, there is!

 

You use the same "disabled" property as you would use with any other control too…

You mean the Resource Names inside the control or the Resource Control itself? If its the control, then as GerdW suggested you can use the direct property.

I too thought that a Visa Control should have the same top level properties as any other control but this does not seem to be the case. On my front panel i am not able to select a state for my control because it is deactivated.

for me it works nicely and "as expected":

I also have the property available in the control's property dialog window (using LV2009 right now)…

This is wiered, I too see the same that the "Disabled" property is disabled on the front panel. But on going through the Control>Properties I am able to enable it back again.

I am wondering what is the reason behind this or its a bug?

just checking in LV2011: no problem here, disabled property is available from properties dialog as expected…
