If you search the forums for that error you will come across several threads. Basically, one or more objects on your front panel has become corrupted. You have to track down the control/indicator, delete it, and then put in a new one. Simply replacing it won't always work (and is not recommended). How do you track it down? One simple way is to make a copy of your VI, and delete items one by one until you get something that doesn't crash.

I found the problem... apparently a case statement bacame corrupt sometime yesterday when I went to work on something else... I did start cutting & pasting sections to narrow it down which is what led me to the problem.  anyways, problem solved.

thanks for the tips, I will use them next crash Smiley Very Happy!
