edit subvi - adding new inputs and outputs

Hello

I'm starting with labview.  I have a little problem when I want to edit a subVI made by myself.  What happens if I want to add a new parameter o a new output?  The only way that I know is editing the subVI, then selecting all the code (with the new IO) and go to Edit->Create SubVI, then double click on the new module, close the current subVI, and save the untitled subVI with the name of the subVI I have just edited, which have all the new IO... ¡¡¡¡uf!!!!  Isn't there any easier way to do this????

Thanks

Hi

You can easily create a vi with controls and indicators. These than have to be assigned to a connector, to make the vi work as a sub-vi.
Search the labview help for "terminals, assigning" and you will find the necessary information.
