education day

Hello guys,

A LabVIEW education day is coming near my area. I am really interest to go. I wonder is there any requirement about this? Any cost? (I am still a student, no company could cover the cost for me...)  Is it OK to enroll the CLD beyond session, even if I do not got the CLD yet? Appreciate for concern.

I presume you are talking about the LV Developer Education Day.

You should be able to find out about costs and prerequisites, if any by going to the registration site.  When I attended one earlier this spring there were no costs.  No one checked credentials as far as which sessions were attended.  The CLD preparation session which I attended was quite informative, even though I have been programming with LV since version 1.2

Thank you for reply. I went to the NI website, and seems like enrolled there. No mention about cost and prerequisites. Hoping there is not.

This event must be really great. That's a opportunity to acquire knowledgement.

How I wish NI Community was stronger in my country.

No LabVIEW Developer Education Day in Brazil.

No events beyond NI Days 2012.

Very few developers. Almost none using LabVIEW as primary tool. 😞

That's sad. Hope this changes in the future.

I think they were talking about putting the information on-line.  Of course you would not have the benefit of interaction with other users.  I have not searched to see if it is available.

There is no cost and you even get a free lunch, soda, coffee, dessert, etc. You might have to pay for parking. In the good old days NI validated but I am not sure if this is still true. Just take public transportation, a better idea anyway. 🙂

That would be great, and I would enjoy it.

But the networking is what I miss at the most. My tool of interaction with LabVIEW users is this forum and a Google Plus community. I don't know more than 5 LabVIEW developers in the "real-life". That's strange and bad.

Sounds awesome! The only problem is the closest meeting place is more than 200miles away... Considering driving or public transportation

If they didnt mentioned in website then it wont be. Generally there will not be any.
