I have a NI PCI-MIO-16XE-50 card and labview 4.0. The NT machine crashed so I loaded win2K onto it and installed labview and the NI-DAQ 7.1 software. Now the card responds to MAX and will even turn on and off LED lights hooked up to a board on the digital I/O port, but the application VI that does the very same simple task is now broken.
The only difference is the operating system upgrade and a switch from NI-DAQ 6.9.3 to 7.1. The application worked fine on the NT box.
The exact text of the error is:
Error -10403 occured at DIO Port Config.
Possible reasons:
NI-DAQ: LV The specified device does not support the requested action(the driver recognizes the device, but
the action is inappropriate for the device).
I was also getting error-10401 occured at DIO Port Config but reinstalled all the software and have been unable to recreate the error.
Any advice or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.
