error -1073676294, error with VISAS WRITE

Hi,

I'm currently am in the process of trying to program a mdrive 34 ac hybrid motor to work so that it can take commands from labview and also write data to a hard drive.  I keep getting this error at the visas write function, saying that there is an I/O error.  I can only find solutions currently to the 23 motor, but it isn't working either.  I have been using the mdrive example (8.6) from their website and I am still getting the same error!  Does anyone know how to fix this?  Is there specific wording I must use to communicate with the terminal.  Currently, I have used SL=20000 and SL 20000 to try and set the slew, but there is still an error with the visas write.vi.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi FruityJ,

What specific error are you receiving?  Would it be possible for you to post a screenshot of the error you're seeing?

Have a great day!

Hi FruityJ,

I realized just after I posted my previous response that you included the number in your post title.  Oops!

I found an article that discusses the error number you are seeing.  I think this will be helpful:

It may be that the "error" you're receiving isn't actually an error, but rather just a status message.
