error 1074364414

Bonjour,

I wwrote a VI for time lapse using NI IMAQ 1394.
In some circumstances I get an error message :

(Hex OxBFF68002) Timeout

Error: -1074364414

This happens when I am recording an AVI at a rate of 1 image per 10 seconds for a period of an hour.

Can somebody explain me this error?

Hi,

That error number simply indicates an internal error occurred with the acquisition, perhaps the rate is so fast, or the period is so long.

Can you post you VI ? For see what is the problem.

Hi,

I have test your application, and they work fine, without problem, i have no error message.

I have test it in the same condition as you : record an AVI at a rate of 1 image per 10 seconds for a period of an hour.

After this, i have make another test, i have start the IMAQ acquisition and disconnect the IEE-1394 cable, with this i have the same error message : error -1074364414.

I think you have a problem with you cable, or the board, or the camera, one of this element lost the connection during the acquisition.
