error 10846 at AI Buffer Read

I'm using Labview 6.1 under Win XP with a DAQ Board PCI-6035E. My PC config is 1.6 GHZ CPU, 256 MB RAM, 40 GB HD. I'm trying to run the continuous aquisition examples given in the Hardware Input and Output\DAQ\Analog Input\General section. In the Front Panel, the application runs without any problems. But whenever I try to use the Highlight Execution in the Diagram I get the "Error-10846 occured at AI Buffer Read". I closed all the other applications, changed the buffer size, scan rate and all the other parameters but the error keeps on occuring every time I use the Highlight Execution option! I had been running this under Win XP for quite a while and never had such problems until recently after reformatting my computer. Please advise me whet
her this is a real problem or not since it doesn't appear in the Front Panel. If it's an error please advise actions. Thanks!

Greetings,

The fact that you are receiving this error when using Highlight Execution does not indicate a problem. This error occurs when unread data is overwritten in the data acquisition buffer. When you are running the VI in Highlight Execution, you a slowing it down a great deal. It is unable to read the data in the buffer before it is overwritten with new data. Only if you receive this error when you are not using Highlight Execution do you need to be concerned.
