error 200170 - NI-9263

Here is the problem:
I am trying to write an analog output, but it's like the NI - 9263 is not recognized in the attached vi. I have posted a screenshot of the front panel to show you guys that the NI - 9263, which is the module 2, can not be chosen in the physical channel control.
The problem is that in Measurement & Automation the module is there and the test works fine too ( I can change the voltage on the fly using the Test panel) (see attached figure).

Can you guys help me figuring out what is going on?

Thanks,

Gaetano

Hi

The reason this probably happens is because the 'Daqmx create channel. vi' was changed from Analog input to Analog Output while the physical channels control was connected to the physical channels input of the 'Daqmx create channel.vi'. Therefore, the physical channels control is still looking for analog input channels and since the 9263 module doesn’t have any, it is not listed in the drop down menu. Try deleting the control and placing a new one by right clicking on the physical channels input terminal on the 'Daqmx Create Channel.vi'. This would populate the control with all possible analog output channels.

I hope this helps!
