error 24015

Hello i am very new to Labview and have started of with a small project.I am facing a problem.

Could anyone kindly help?

The problem is i connect the " Filter out" of the "dfd build  filter from pole zero gain"  to " dfd render transfer function",

no error occurs when i run from the front panel.however when i open the  dfd render transfer function.vi ( double click) and run - i get this error.

and error 24015 - is filter error -but my filter  works fine in front panel. i am able to see frequency response graph..

Interestingly this works on other system. I was curious to know what could be the problem.

Many thanks

"however when i open the  dfd render transfer function.vi ( double click) and run - i get this error."

Which vi do you run ?

If you just run " dfd render transfer function", it is possibly that needs data from previous vi.

In other case there is no difference if you have the front panel of your sub vi, open or not (unless your code is depended by the status of front panel)

Can you post your code ?

I will attach once again. ( I am able to open it here. Or do i need to do something else, if it does not open?)

I don't have the sub-vis you use.

I don't know if they are part of a toolkit, i don't have.

You must post your sub vis too.

Or at least "dfd render transfer function.vi" and "dfd build  filter from pole zero gain.vi"

Hello Sir,

Thanks for your reply.

Incidentally i tried copying the vi's from an other workspace and now it is working fine. The reason must have been i unknowingly might have modified , the vi.( coz each time i do some operation it would ask if i would want to save it , and i would save it.)

Thank you very much for your time.

Any way the vi;s " dfd render diffrence  equation .vi " is her
