error 77080 - labview softmotion

hi all,

I am working with labview softmotion and solidworks.

I am posting this question since a new problem happened to me. Everything was working well, and suddenly it became impossible to start the solidworks simulation through the labview project explorer. When I click "start simulation", as i was doing before, the error 77080 pops up, saying "an error occurred while starting the solidworks simulation" and "an error occurred while reading deployed data".

It would be really nice if someone can provide me some help about this problem.

1) Pouvez vous reproduire les étapes du chapitre Deploying, Running, and Stopping the Simulation Page 16 du manuel suivant :

2) Avez vous supprimer par hasard un fichier XML tel que le "cosimulation.xml"?

3) Est ce que LabVIEW et tous les toolkits + add on sont installés sur le disque C ou un autre disque?

4) Avez vous installé Solid Works Motion add in puis tenter de déployer derrière? Il faut bien refermer le projet puis le réouvrir après avoir ajouter le Solid Works Motion add in.

5) Utilisez vous des espaces dans les noms des moteurs Solidworks? si oui, supprimer les espaces.

6) Quelle est votre Version de LabvIEW?

Tout d'abord merci pour les réponses.

Je n'ai pas supprimé de fichier xml, je ne vois d'ailleurs pas de fichier de ce nom.

Tous les modules nécessaires de Labview sont bien installés, comme je l'ai dit tout fonctionnait bien auparvant.

Il y a effectivement des espaces dans les noms des moteurs solidworks, je les retires tout de suite.

J'utilise Labview et Solidworks 2013. Il est aussi à noter qu'aujourd'hui la simulation foncitonne, malgré les espaces dans les noms des moteurs.

Je vais aussi me pencher un peu sur les documents en lien, et je réessayerai avec l'ordinateur qui posait problème pour voir si le soucis est réglé.

Hi,

It took me a while to figure out how to tackle this problem, therefore, I'd like to share the solution with the community:

• Save any design with your Solidworks version:  The files shipped with SoftMotion are created with an old version of Solidworks (prior to Solidworks 2013 for sure). So first step is to save any model using your current version.

• Make sure you close your LabVIEW project and Solidworks after enabling Motion addins in Solidworks: This is the major and common problem for that error. Reopeneing both thereafter would solve the problem.
• Open your Solidworks model from LabVIEW project, then make sure you "Synchronized it".

• Deploy your solidworks model and axis.

Then starting simulation would run normally
