error installing LabView 6.0i Eval

When I try to install Labview I get the error
'Error 1325 Interface is not a valid short file name' and then it quits. Is there anything I can do?
The computer is an AMD-K6 200 with 64MB of RAM running Win95.

Thanks

JSlade,

If you do not have any other National Instruments software on your computer, the I would suggest checking the registry (Start»Run»regedit) at HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\National Instruments. If that key exists, then delete it and try installing it again. If it does not exist, then try copying the CD to your hard drive and installing it from there.
If you do have other National Instruments software installed, then I suggest deleting the LabVIEW key only and reinstalling LabVIEW.

I have the same error code 1325. That registery folder ("HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\Software\National Instruments") existed and I deleted it. But the error code still occurs when I try to re-install. I tried mapping the network folder and then installing. I also tried installing directly from the c drive but it makes no difference. Is there anything else that will work?
