I have a similar problem with my LabView .vi s.
When ever there is an update for Windows and I then run my .vi I get, "a dynamic link library (.dll) failed to initialise."
I cannot change administrator settings on the machine, but when I reboot the machine enough times it starts to work again.
I have seen this more than 10 times now, this happens on every machine that undergoes the updates. I cannot stop the updates and as it is not isolated to one machine I do not believe that the files could be corrupt.
Can anyone tell me why this happens or give me a solution?
Cheers,
Andrew

Hello Andrew,
I would recommend starting a new thread for this issue. Most people no longer look at threads that are this old; you are much more likely to get responses if you start a new one.
With regards to your issue, what version of LabVIEW are you using? What dll is having trouble initializing? What OS are you using?
Cheers,
Christina
