Hey Melaniee,

Thank you so much for helping me.

The reset to Interface Mode soved the error.

Even if I´m not sure that ist works correctly, because I´m still not able to get a communication set up over the serial Module for whatever reason.

I now just used a Serial to USB converter till I may have time to troubleshoot that. By now everything works quit well with the adapter.

If anyone have an idea why I just can not communicate with serial devices over the NI-9870 please let me know.

I tried everything I could think of but nothing...

I have the Ports showen up in LabView and over the MAE in the Target. But if I try to get any kind of communication in either LabView vi or MAE Visa test just nothing.
