error on open an old (LV 7?) LLB-file

I am trying to open a LabVIEW LLB-file that is about 4 years old, I think it was made under LabVIEW 7.  When I double-click it, I get the message "An error occurred while listing the contents of ...", then an OK -button, and that's it.  Is there a way to get inside the library and recover (even partially) some of the files?

which version do you use now?

I currently use LV 8.2.  I get the error message with all version that I have available (8.2, 8.0, 7.1, 7.0)
