error using joystick

Hi,
Although my joytick works on the computer I am using, it does not work in LabVIEW. I am getting error -2000000005, which says: Error occurred at input Device Error Translation. I was able to use it in LabVIEW in two other computers. I was thinking that the error could be due to this computer having many pieces of hardware (6 USB connections). Could this explain the error? Is there a way to avoid the error?

Thanks,
IBAHKA

Ibahka,

Could you provide us with more specific information about your system? What joystick are you using? What OS is on the computer where the joystick doesn't work? What OS on the computers where it does? What about the version of LabVIEW on all the computers? In what VI does the error occur? Could you attach a screenshot of the error you are receiving?

If the number of other USB hardware devices is a concern, you could try unplugging them, restarting the computer, and seeing if that changes anything.
