event/while loop probelm with up/down arrow on a field

I can not tell what is going on when I am clicking the up/down key on a user event field.  The code looks correct but the up/down arrow takes a long time to change the value of the field.

Sorry, it is not clear to me what you mean. Could you attach a simple example or explain in more details.

(e.g. What is an "user event field"?)
