excel template with executables

Hi

I'm having some troubles to recall a template file from an executable 

I'm using the output report toolkit to create an excel file with the data i get from the VI. Basically, i have created a template and i call it every time the script runs. It works all correctly if a use a separate VI. When i create a project to build an executable, the same template file is not found by the executable. I've tried to put this template even inside the project but i couldn't make it work (in this later case i dont know the address to assign to the template)

Hi Vaso,

how do you select the path to the template? If you build an application the path can change a little bit. Bear in mind that all vi´s lie side by side in an executable.

Initially, i just created the executable and let unchanged the path (the template was still there_see attachment). Then i tried to include the excel template in the project and tried to insert the address that the file would have inside the project. Still didnt work
