Why do you not use the FTP option when you right click on your RT target?

It allows you to transfer ( copy / delete) files of any extension, from any directory on your PC to your Rt target.

Hi, I am able to do that. I want to build a custom application around it so that it can taken care automatically.

Also, I came to know yesterday that the FTP server is located in the RT controller itself. So simple FTP functions of getting files and putting files can be done using the readily available code examples.

Hi I have another PXI controller (RT). When I rt-click on the RT controller identified by MAX, I'm not getting the option to do FTP. I want to know if at all the FTP server is installed on the RT controller or not. How can I know it? secondly if FTP server is not installed, how can I install the same?

When you right click on the controller are you able to see the File transfer option (may be disabled) or the file transfer option itself is not available? Check whether in the RT controller the web service module is installed.
