external trigger using allen bradley Micro Logix 1000

I am new at using Labview, I have 2012 Labview Full, using cDAQ-9174, with moduals 9205, 9213, 9227. I want to use Allen Bradley MicroLogix 1000 as an external trigger when I cycle units on and off and data log AAC, Temps, VDC and ADC readings 1 second prior to the 5 minutes on and shut down 1 second after the 5 minutes on. Can I pause the data logging bewteen ON cycles and resume every on cycle and not have to open up a new log everytime? Is there a block diagram template I can use to get started? Oh the test will run 5 days 24hrs.

You can use your external trigger as the control to pause the logging.
