fahrenheit to Celsius Unit dsplay LV 8.2.0

I'm using LV 8.2, the Unit labels work fine, only problem is the conversion from F to C and C to F appear to be wrong... I was expecting 70Fdeg to show 21.11Cdeg. Instead the control converts 70Fdeg to 38.8889Cdeg.

While I'm at it what the meaning behing showing degress Fdeg or degF... Is the the same conversion only the label is change?

LabVIEW help (http://zone.ni.com/reference/en-XX/help/371361B-01/lvhowto/available_units_in_labview/)  says degF is absolute temperature and FDeg is temperature difference (relative)...Wish there was a more elaborate description.

Thanks for the link, as I see that there is an absolute (degF or degC) and the other is relative Fdeg or Cdeg. But, the LV 8.2 conversion is obviously incorrect here in the example I give above.

Anyone try this with 8.5..or 8.2beta

If you change the Fdeg to degF and the Cdeg to degC, 70 degF does yield 21.11 degC.

attached a pic, take a look and you can decide if LV 8.2 temperature conversion is correct???

I'm not looking for a conversion relative absolute zero. I looking for C to F and F to C. So your saying only absolute zero reference is done here with the LV units???

I see from the link the NI chosen base unit is Kelvin. Not running a thermodynamic over here. Be nice to let me chose the base, so I'll do C to F manually as usual...

It is easy enough to write your own vi to do the conversion:
