file attributes hidden and OS folder information

I want to save a file in hidden and read-only. Then, open again and write some data (after changing the file attributes.).

How to change the file attribute in LV8.2? I can't find out any related function and manual.

I found some postings for this problem, but it related to OPENG library.

Should I install some additional library?

Futhermore, I would like to how to read the OS directory(ex. c:\windows) from Windows property.

How can I do for this job?

Check out the "set permissions" and "list folder" contents using the built in Advanced File Functions. Not sure you can hide a file with LabVIEW however.
