fuzzy logic on the PDA?

Hi:

Will the fuzzy logic vi's from the Fuzzy logic Toolkit work on the PDA?  We are looking to get the Fuzzy Logic Toolkit but need to know if it will work on the PDA first.

Thanks for any help.

Well, they don't have any black magic like DLLs or CINs, so I assume they should work, although I can't actually test it.

They do have formula nodes, but I think those are supported on the PDA, so, barring any PDA module bugs and performance issues, I think it will work.

Hi Greycat,

We don't officially support the PID Toolkit on PDA, but only because we haven't tested it. However, it should work as long as the PID toolkit is not using structures & nodes that are unsupported in LabVIEW PDA. Since the PID Toolkit is primarily written in G, there's a good chance everything will work.

If you tell me the VIs you intend on using, I'll be glad to find out if those will work as expected.

Best Regards,

Thanks for the response AG123 ... I'm not sure which vi's I would need/want to use yet ... just getting all the information I need to make decisions later.  I have spoken with a sales rep, who spoke to an App Eng ... who is looking into this and will get back to me.  I got the same response from them ... not officially supported, but we're not sure ... So if I hear anything from them, I'll post to this thread.

I'd be willing to Field test it if Ni wanted to GIVE me a copy of it 😉 hehehe
