Looking for economical hardware recommendations. I do a lot with labview in general for larger projects but have a lot of smaller projects that I will typically be forced to use small dedicated HMI's and plc's for a more economical solution. Would prefer to do everything in Labview if possible with little miniature panel pc's or mini box pc's with small touchscreen monitors if need be. If there isn't a great solution to get complete in the sub $500 range wouldn't mind suggestions on different HMI's. I have used may Weintek HMI's in the past and there software isn't bad but have recently been looking at LS and Proface.

If you are replacing PLCs, I really suggest you avoid the "cheap" hardware. For control systems, Windows is a horrible idea. I know they are more than you want to spend, but cRIOs are the alternative to PLCs.
