I have downloaded HP IO library suite 14.0 and installed it. But the insturmwent driver or my application program(VISA_COMMAND.vi) still can not work correctly.
My system is pretty old. The NI-488.2 software for NI AT-GPIB/TNT is version 2.7.1, released in 1995, but my operation system is WinXP. Do I need intall latest NI-488.2 software?
I appreciate any kind suggestion!

Hi Yi,

Yes, upgrading your driver may help in this situation. Driver 2.7.1 was designed for use with DOS systems, and the latest version that supports the AT-GPIB/TNT card is version 1.7 (we started over on numbers a few years back). Here is a link to a table of GPIB hardware, operating system versions, and the latest driver that supports the various combinations.

I am trying to use Tektronix CDS 73A-453 in a VXI module. My version of LabVIEW does not have the following files.

VXI Read Message.vi
VXI Receive Message.vi
Open VXI Instrument.vi
Close VXI Instrument.vi
