Hi all,
I am a newbie to labview programming starting with labview NXG.
When I was trying to install the driver package for my keithley 2400 sourcemeter, the package manager always prevents me by saying that "nothing provides'ni-labview-ng' needed by 'Keithley 24XX instrument driver'.
I'm wondering what this error information really means and what's the reason behind.
Please let me know if you guys have any idea about it.
Thanks.
BO

BO,
I think I've seen this issue before with this driver. Try downloading it directly from here:
Keithley 2440 SourceMeter
http://sine.ni.com/apps/utf8/niid_web_display.model_page?p_model_id=1593
EDIT: I sent the link for the 2440 instead of the 2400. However, I double-checked and both use the same driver (Keithley 24XX).

Thanks Rey A. But I don't think this is an instrument-specific problem. I've tried to install other drivers too. The package manager just does not work for drivers. It works for other packages though. See the attached pic.

Which LabVIEW are you trying to install it into?

The instrument drivers currently available in NI Package Manager are only supported in LabVIEW NXG 1.0. NI will be publishing updated drivers that work with LabVIEW NXG 2.0 soon.
