hdl node doesn't displays

i have labview 2009 with almost complete toolkits and modules in professional license. The problem is that it doesn't displays the hdl node in the fpga blocks and functions even I've installed FPGA module. Even though I've also used labview 8.6 with similar kind of license but that one also doesn't seem to have that hdl node block.

can anyone pls suggest me the solution?

Hello,

The HDL node should be located in the functions palette under Programming > Advanced.  Do you have this subpalette?

Your VI must be running under an FPGA target in order to have access to the FPGA functions.  Are you seeing the rest of the FPGA functions/palettes?

Here is what your functions palette should look like on an FPGA VI:

Thanks for your response sir.

the main problem is that I've the sub-palette of Programming blocks, but even it is not showing HDL node in the Advance blockset.

I'm currently opening a simple BLank VI to do this.

I need to get results of an HDL to my VI without using any FPGA target that's why I've to use it. Is there any another way?

The only way to access the LabVIEW FPGA functions is if the VI is targeted for an FPGA target.  This target can be a simulated target, but it must be set up through a project.  More information on how to do this can be found in the LabVIEW help document titled "Using FPGA Targets in a LabVIEW Project (FPGA Module)"
