hex file

Gentleman,

May I request vi where in I can download a certain hex file (.hex).

Currently our procedure is using hyperterminal in downloading the hex filr into the unit.

We start with opening the hyperterminal then go to "Transfer"

then "Send Text File... " and then browse and load that particular .hex file.

You can use VISA to do that. See the serial read/write examples at Labview.

It is realy easy. If you will have any problem we can help... but asking a ready vi ?!... Where is the fun?
