Did you mean:

how can I remove the rectangle of an indicator

Hi,

I would like to change the display mode of some indicators so as to make them look like the numbers and the strings displayed on the screen of the instrument in the photo below.

All this because I want to put this image in the background and drag the indicators to their corresponding places on the screen.

Could you please help me with this?

Thank you in advance.

Just use an appropriate font.  Using fonts and colors, I bet you can get really close.  🙂

But if you do that, the original numbers will show through.  I just can't read.

Hi,

Are you looking for a 7 segment Display? (The headline is a little bit confusing)
You can download the VI and can impliment it in your Code: https://decibel.ni.com/content/docs/DOC-4085
Maybe you also want to change the Layout: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qvhGH0TlCqs

If you only want to change the font, with could help you: http://digital.ni.com/public.nsf/allkb/5DCD38A1D020155386256DA9007DF506?OpenDocument

Please let me know if this helps!
