Hello sindhu,

National Instruments has several Control toolkits available for LabVIEW, so I’m not sure whether you are using the new Control Design Toolkit, or the PID Control Toolkit, but I think I can help you out because the solution should largely the same regardless of which of these toolkits you are using.

Most of our VIs which deal with transfer functions in both of these toolkits require that you input the transfer function by specifying arrays of coefficients for the numerator and denominator polynomials.

So for the transfer function you mentioned in your post the numerator and denominator arrays, respectively, could be specified by inputting the following arrays into the appropriate transfer function VIs (please note that the constants will have to be evaluated to their numeric values):

Numerator: [(1-e), T]

Denominator: [0, 1]

I hope this helps. Please let me know if there is anything I can help with or clarify.
