hey, yeah by that wrong spelling i meant "Adobe photoshop" and no, i´m not trying to do that with LabView.i searched for this question and got here by a question like mine.so i thought maybe some one can help me.
but my problem is that i want to convert to mm^2. i want to have an area converted from pixel to mm^2 ! the whole area was 600 pixel. there was no H/V ! it was the whole thing.
I actually try to calculate the grain size distribution. took their picture with microscope, and open the picture with adobe photoshop and it said the whole area is 600 pixel. and now i´m just trying to convert it to mm^2!

Hi nemidooma,
why do you create duplicate posts for exactly the same question - that has been answered before in detailed manner...
Go back to your original post here!
To summarize:
Put a scale on your pictures, count the pixels needed for a length of 1mm, then multiply your number of pixels with (1/pixels per mm)^2. As easy as it is (if you don't care for high precision, as it seems) and all said before in that other thread...
