Yes, IMAQ Vision can implement the Canny algorithm using the IMAQ CannyEdgeDetection.vi which is part of the Vision Development Module

The Vision Concepts Manual (pg 5-12 and 5-13) describes this a little bit - and also describes other algorithms available.
