how can i use the NI software for detecting engine knock on 2010 LabVIEW?

i downloaded the software on the NI website but i am unable to run it on the 30-days trial version of 2010 LabVIEW.

can i get some useful information about what should i do?

What do you mean by "unable to run it" ?  Please provide error codes and/or screenshots so we can be of more help to you.

Also, are you referring to this code:

If so, it requires the "Signal Processing Toolset" ... which is here , I believe.  You probably need to download a demo of that toolkit.

that was the software that i was talking about.  it said that it`s "too old to run on 2010 LabVIEW"

does not matter any more, i made my own VI that simulates engine knock
