how do I add slope to an IIR filter

Hi,

I'm using the IIR filter VI to calculate a 4th order IIR. The only options for it are LP, HP, Band Pass, and band stop. How do I create a slope (shape the filter response other than just flat) usign this VI?

Thanks.

Please give us some examples on what kind of slope you would expect.

Using the "Digital IIR Filter.vi" you choose filter type (lowpass etc.), topology (Butterworth etc.), order, upper and lower Fc, passband ripple, and stopband attenuation. What other options would you like to control?

Hello

I have the same question. I am using the Digital Filter Toolkit and I would like to change the slope to 3dB/octave. The current filter slope is 6dB/octave.

Could you tell me a way to do so please ? Sorry, it may be a filter design question more than a LabView one.

Thank you in advance,

Chris
