Techincally speaking, this code will create a tab delimited file, which Excel can open.  But it is not a real Excel file.  It doesn't have the Excel formatting that the Report Generation Toolkit provides.  However, you can open the file with Excel, then save the file in Excel format (.xls).  Then it would be a true Excel file.

Yup and I did mention that this is not how native excels are created.
