how to compare two source codes?

Hello,

I would like to know if there is a way to compare different source codes (different .vi , or different groups of vi...) in LabView?

Our 2 production lines look very similar, and I want to know if there are some differences in the 2 programs managing the 2 productions lines...because we have to make some changes.

What version of the LabVIEW package are you using (student, basic, professional development)? There is, in the Professional Development package, under "Tools" a "Compare" that allows comparison of vi's. It will show the differences in the front panel, diagram, both functional and "decorative".

There are two compares available "VIs" and "VI Hierachies".

They will highlight the differences.
