thanks for the reply.
yah u got me right, thats what i intend to do. but let me make it more clear that i want my program to read from a text file for the connections (that is which pin of one connector is connected to which pin of the other connector) and displays the connections graphically.
i have attached a pictorial representation of the way i want the wiring diagram to be represented as.the program loads different files at run time, there it should determine at run time how to represent changes in the diagram therefore i cant import one picture here.
i hope someone could help me in resolving this problem.
thanks in advance.

I suspect Dennis is correct re:why you can not post your image.
Lacking that I'll suggest you look at using a picture control that you first populate with a static image. After that draw some lines to do the connections you are after depending on your script.
This thread
http://forums.ni.com/ni/board/message?board.id=BreakPoint&message.id=14&jump=true
contains a lot of examples that use the picture control. NONE of those examples will do exactly what you want but they may be worth looking at.

PS Dennis, Will I have an oppertunity to hear your voice tomorow?

Hi Ben,
Yeah, you'll hear me tomorrow. It might be an angry voice though. My budget request (for the 4th year in a row), to upgrade me and all of the other users to the latest version of LabVIEW and TestStand has been turned down.![]()
