how to eliminate selection of "username"

When I open labview 4.0.1, it asks for the username to be chosen. How can I work around this and let labview assume a particular username everytime I launch Labview.

In LabView 4.0, I think there was an option for the Login Prompt under Edit >> Preferences.
In LabView 6.1, goto Tools >> Options >> Revision History >> Login automatically with the LabView Registration name

You should launch LV, open the Edit>>Preferences dialog, and on one of
the pages such as on the History page, you will have choices for how LV
picks the user name during launch.

Sorry I can't be more precise, but LV4 was released a long time ago,
like about seven or eight years ago.
