how to get an inverse of a scaled amplitude spectrum

I had a signal in the time domain and used the ampitude and phase spectrum.vi to get amplitude and phase information.  The original time domain signal has been lost and I left with amplitude and phase data. 

I would be extremely greatful with any help regarding how to reconstruct my original time signal from the amplitude and phase.  I have tried converting phase and amplitude from polar to complex and using the inverse fft.vi but the resulting signal is not correct.

You posted this a long while ago, so not sure if you solved the issue. Have developed some code that will take a previously converted FFT signal and reconstruct it back to the original though it will have lost the original time resolution. 

Not sure if this is what you are after?
