how to log battery voltage as it discharges in labview using a daq 6025E

Hi,

I want to know how to log the discharge characteristics of a battery as it discharges. I.e. i want to measure and log the voltage of the battery as it discharges. I want to store the voltage reading once every 30 seconds for up to 11 hours.

I use Labview 8.5 and am using a DAQ 6025E.

Can anyone help me or provide me with a tutorial on how to log voltage using a DAQ.

Take a look at the Labview examples. Go to help in the toolbar then select Find examples and search for daqmx. I think the cont acq examples are what you are looking for. Remember to use "save as" then you save, so you do not modify the example.
