how to make changing colours patterns with repect to change in input

hi,. 

 i am trying to make a  colour box where in the colour changes when there is a change in input voltage. can someone please help me out

If I read it right, the other thread talks about colors in intensity graphs. Here we are talking about outputting a single color to a colorbox, at least from what the OP wrote.
 
I usually don't try to figure out what the user "actually" wants unless the question is very vague. 😄

Thanks a lot for the help. i am trying for smooth change in the color with respect to input. it is to show even the minute variation in input.

It's basically the same, just create a bigger color ramp array and do something simlar.

How much do you want to bet that the next question is: "How do I apply this to an intensity graph?", since that's one of the things (out of 3) the poster is trying to do in his other post. Smiley Wink
