how to present characters on express table?

Why are you concerned about a 3D array when you are discussing a table? A 3D array cannot be displayed in one. A 2D array is multi-dimensional and is the only way a table can be represented.

I think I understand little about using array. Can you give me an simple example to  build  a table with at least 3 columns, the last one present strings.

Oh, thanks. I ve just found an example  (building tables.vi). I ll try. However I wish if I could use building express table. Your answer is helpful. thanks

Avoid using Express VIs, they re just for the understanding purpose for the beginners.

They ll create more problems when you use them in your executables.

Once you open their FP, they re like normal VIs.

But, you can always use the lower level VIs instead of Express VIs to achieve the same purpose.

I think I have learnt much in this forum. Now I can solve my problem,of course, not with express table vi. I use low level VIs,it is simple to get my purpose. Thanks for all your ideas..
