Easy as pie - just use the HOUSING SIZE - HEIGHT and/or WIDTH property.

Not sure what you mean by changing the size of the slider, but many of the slider control's attributes are changeable programmatically using property nodes. If you right click on the control, or it's terminal on the diagram, you can "create", "property node". At this point, for the classical slider control in particular, you will be given a really long list of things that can be programmatically controlled relating to the attributes of the control, including housing size.

We just have to figure how to wire a reply and you'd be in good shape Putnam!

BTW: Did I ever tell you I figured out what that "humming" comment regarding Mike really means. Rather than try to change his habits we adapted and starting playing "Name that Tune". Smiley Wink

I think i did not explain my doubt clearly.i do not need to change the size of the housing but the size of the slider inside the vertical size since im using it as a selection box to select a particular portion of an image.using property node only the colour can be changed. Is there any way of changing it.

Thanks in advance.

This is what I thought you meant when I first read your reply.  I looked around through the properties as well and did not notice anything.

Oh, you mean the thumb: the portion that actually slides.

There's no way I know of to change that size programatically.  The control editor will do it, but it's a proportion of the housing size, and you can't access that from the program.

Consider using a housing with TWO sliders, and fill between them with some different color.
