how to select 7833R AI mode

I am using PXI 7833R analog input to measure an analog voltage. when I measured a zero voltage, the input is -842 and another input is 4084.
How can I initialize this or calibrate it? There are three modes for analog input : differential mode, referenced single-ended and non-referenced single-ended. I am using Labview FPGA module to control PXI 7833R , and how can I select the input mode inside Labview FPGA?
Thanks.

lightmiddle,
Just to double check, if you are trying to measure 0 volts, you will want to tie your postive and negative pins together, and make sure they are both tied to ground.  Assuming you have done this and are getting calibration errors, you can do an internal calibration of your board by going to: Start>>Programs>> National Instrument>>NI-RIO>>PXI-7833R>>Calibrate NI 783x Device.  If after doing this you still don't achieve the results you need, you can do an external calibration of your device.  NI provides this service as well as other metrology labs. Calibration of the 783x is covered in Chapter 3 of the 783x User Manual.

As far as changing the input mode, please see this Knowledge Base.

Can someone please update this link?  The 783x manual makes numerous references to being able to change the Analog Input mode 'via software' but it does not describe exactly how to do this.

Thanks!
