how to start designing filters in labview?

Hi,

the hardware used is a sound card for input signal. what i meant from "output signal in micro volts" that the input signal is in mili volts ok.

I have to filter out the noise and at the same time, i have to amplify the signal also,so that from mili volts,it comes to  few volts...by mistake i wrote it wrong,earlier.

i dnt have any code dear....m trying to do it graphically,by modifying the examples given in labview...
