how to start evauation without a divice

I have downloaded the evaluation version.

How do I start the evaluation without a divice ?

Hi DV63,

Welcome to the NI Forums!

If you have downloaded an evaluation copy of LabVIEW your 30 day trial should begin immediately after being prompted for a Serial Number. You can choose not to enter a Serial and this will begin your trial. I recommend installing the NI-DAQmx device drivers; this is software which allows you to communicate with National Instruments DAQ devices. However, this installation will be especially useful because it will allow you to Simulate an Instrument with the Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX); this means you can start acquiring signals in LabVIEW straight away.
