how to synchronize DI and DO with software on PXI6534

hi there

i need to synchronize the input of a single digital channel with the output of another one on a PXI-6534 board with PXI8330 controller. the input is generated by the output and needs to be acquired at the same time scale. unfortunately i can't use the PFI lines because of the curcuit board layout. i'd like to start both generation and acquisition through software.

anyone got some ideas?

btw: i'm using LabVIEW 7.1 with DAQmx 7.5

Are you referring to this example? PFI2 and PFI3 are used here to route the sample clock but there is no need to do any external connections as the routing is done internally via RTSI0 so you should be able to use it.
