how to use the PFI terminal on BNC-2110 with PCI-6070E as inputs

hello,i have a question here.

im working on a project that required to have 7 digital inputs and 4 digital outputs. but i can only use 7 digital input/output line.

so .i want to use the PFI port. But i cannot detect the PFI channel when i try use the DAQ assistant.

please help me?

6070E is an old design where PFI cannot operate as DIO as state clearly in its specification that it has only 8 DIO, page 9 of https://www.ni.com/docs/en-US/bundle/370725c/resource/370725c.pdf
The best option would be to upgrade 6070E to comparable card with more DIO.
6251, https://www.ni.com/en-us/support/model.pci-6251.html would be the best candidate, but if you've another slot or USB connection left for another card, you can also buy another DIO card like USB-6501, https://www.ni.com/en-us/shop/model/usb-6501.html or PCI-6503, https://www.ni.com/en-us/shop/model/pci-6503.html, with cheaper cost for such a purpose.
