how to work with ROI's in Imaq

I am programmatically building several ROI's with the IMAQ functions that I can turn on and off by menu choice.  I build each of the ROI's I want and then group them for display using the IMAQ Group ROI function.  I know this this works properly because the ROI overlays display properly and I can resize, move etc.

I now want to ungroup them to pick out indiviudal Global Rectangles.  When I use the IMAQ Ungroup ROI function and theoretically break them out, I send the individuals  into the IMAQ ROIprofile function,  which appears to flow (no errors) however, the Global Rectangles have non-sense information.

Are there any tricks required to ungroup this "grouped" ROI.

Side note:  I have only used this post service for a week and find it invaluable.  I have gotten some terrific advice but I can't figure out how to thank individuals for thier input.  Is this by design or how can I do that?

You do not need to use that vi to get the global rectangle.  Once you ungroup them use the Unbundle by Name cluster tool to get the Global Rectangle information.

As for thanking individuals, click the Kudos icon.

You can also flag solutions as the solution and people get credit for that, too.

And rpursely8 is right about what he said.
