Try your teacher. If he wont then there are lots of tutorial on NI's website. There are also plenty of examples shipped with labview. There is definitely enough for you to get started. Have a read, have a try, post what you attempt and then we will try to help.

What hardware are you going to use? If you know what input from the hardware you are going to expect you can easily simulate this to get started on your project.
